EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE Course is a basic training course in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(CPR) and emergency care at the layperson level.
The course is divided into 2 parts :
Part 1 : Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) which covers 8 skills
* Scene Assessment
* Barrier Use
* Primary Assessment
* Rescue Breathing
* One Rescuer, Adult CPR
* Serious Bleeding Management
* Shock Management
* Spinal Injury Management
Part 2 : Emergency First Response Secondary which covers 4 skills
* Injury assessment
* Illness Assessment
* Bandaging
* Splinting for Dislocations and Fractures
Course duration
- Some self study on your participant manual
- 5 hours of theory work, hands on practice and audio visuals with your instructor.
