PADI Divemaster training is the first leadership level in the PADI progression. The importance of a PADI Divemaster cannot be overstated. The Divemaster rating denotes an individual who has a high level of personal diving skills; has INSTRUCTOR level knowledge of diving theory; has significant training in how to assist an instructor during training activities; and able to assume a role of responsibility for the welfare of other divers in their charge.

Course Prequisites

PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent
Minimium 20 logged dives for course entry
Minimium 60 logged dives for course exit

Divemaster Course outline
Module 1
* Watermanship and Stamina
- 4 exercises
* General Diving skills
- performed to Demonstrative Quality
* Problem Solving Assessment
* Diver
-Rescue Skills Assessment

Module 2
* Academic Training
- 8 Sessions (self study)
* 8 parts theory exams
- passing grade 80% each part.

Module 3
* Underwater mapping
* Pool-skills Overview
* Role of Divemaster in Confined
- water Training
* Role of Divemaster in Open
- water Training
* Role of Divemaster in Nontraining Activities

Upon completion of the Divemaster Course you will be a PADI Professional Dive Leader.
